Coinmotion is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team! You'll be part of our 60-member expert organization specializing in cryptocurrency services.We have two subteams, Product, and Platform, working side by side with different key responsibility areas. The Platform team is responsible for general improvements on the system where the Product team is handling different product related features.

As a DevOps Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable software delivery.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Ansible, Terraform

• Monitor system performance, detect issues, and implement solutions to enhance reliability and scalability.

• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet their needs.

• Manage hybrid environment, on-premise and cloud environment (GCP). Optimize resources to balance performance and cost.

• Ensure security best practices are followed and assist in vulnerability assessments and remediation.

• Document processes, procedures, and policies related to DevOps practices.

Our offices are located in Helsinki, Tampere, and Jyväskylä, but our team works all around Finland, primarily remotely. You’ll have the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in Finland, with occasional travel to one of our offices to meet your team members. Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.

• Strong Linux skills

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools (for example: GitLab).

• Proficiency with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible

• Experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

• Understanding of networking principles and scalable web architectures.

• Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, etc.).

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Understanding of TLS certificates and encryptions.

• Optional, but highly beneficial: Experience on data engineering tools like Snowflake, Debezium, Airflow, Google pubsub, Redis and/or Elasticsearch.
