Accounting specialist

We provide a wide variety of cryptocurrency investment services like trading, lending, custody, private banking and payment services across Europe. Coinmotion is regulated as a payment institution and virtual currency service provider by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA).

Currently, we are seeking an Accounting specialist to our team and the responsibilities would include:

• Collaborate with team members in routine accounting tasks
• Handle payable and receivable accounting
• Handle travel and expense claims
• Assist in the preparation of reports to income register and tax authorities
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance

Our offices are located in Helsinki, Tampere and Jyväskylä, Finland. We are open to remote work, but we do expect employees to be able to join us at some of our offices for team meetings and workshops. 

Must-have requirements

• Basic knowledge of accounting
• Good IT-skills
• Good social skills and attitude
• Well-organized working habits
• Fluent communication skills in Finnish and English

Good-to-have:

• Interest in cryptocurrencies and finance technology
• Google workspace experience
• Experience in using accounting softwares

The job available is full-time. The contract is permanent with a 3 month trial period. Please indicate your salary request in the application. Work will begin as soon as the perfect candidate is found.
